Getting started
Do I need plans or land before we talk?+
No finished drawings are needed for an initial conversation. Tell us whether you own land, are considering a site or already have plans, and we can discuss an appropriate starting point.
What happens in the first conversation?+
We discuss your project type, location, priorities, budget expectations and timing. The aim is to understand whether we are a good fit and what information is needed next. It is not a commitment to build.
Where do you build?+
Wunderbar Homes is based in Liverpool and works across Sydney, with projects in South West Sydney. Share your suburb so we can confirm whether your location and project are suitable.
Wunderbar Inclusions
What are Wunderbar Inclusions?+
Eight Signature Collections organise the details of your home around how you live: Chef, Ambience, Comfort, Smart, Entertain, Retreat, Forever and Care. Each has a dedicated page with features to explore, from kitchen storage and layered lighting to future provisions and aftercare.
Are all eight collections standard in every home?+
No. The website presents available collections and features to discuss. We handpick the right combination with you during design and selections, then confirm what is included, excluded or allowed for in your written proposal and contract.
Can I choose individual features across different collections?+
Yes. Use the collections as a starting point, then discuss individual features across them with our team. We review the combination against your plans, site, available services and budget before documenting the agreed selections.
How do these inclusions help me compare builders?+
Compare the detail behind the headline: stone edge construction, cabinetry fit-out, appliance models, lighting locations, insulation, air-conditioning capacity and zoning, data points and aftercare. Also check whether a feature is an installed product or a future provision. Our collections make those conversations easier; your written schedule is the basis for comparing scope.
When do we confirm my inclusions and price?+
We discuss your priorities early and refine the selections with the design. The written proposal and contract should identify your selected collections and individual features, quantities, product specifications, allowances, exclusions and any unresolved selections before you commit. Changes after agreement follow the contract variation process.
Does a provision mean the product is installed?+
No. A provision is the specific preparation recorded in your scope, such as a nominated conduit, service connection or structural allowance. A pendant provision does not include the pendant; solar, battery, EV, lift, CCTV and doorbell provisions do not include the equipment unless expressly listed. Future work may still need further design and approvals.
Are the brands, models and photographs the final specification?+
Collection pages describe features and design possibilities. Brands, models, finishes, dimensions, quantities and any agreed equivalent are confirmed in your selections schedule. Representative concepts and styled images are not a promise that every pictured item is included.
Can every collection suit any design or site?+
Suitability depends on your plans, site, services, approvals and budget. For example, a butler’s pantry needs space, ceiling heights need to work with the approved design, and future lift or accessibility provisions need specific planning. We discuss what is practical for your home.
What does Wunderbar Care cover?+
Explore Care for the homeowner handbook, finish records, maintenance process and warranty support available for your project. The proposed Care service includes a 90-day maintenance period, a 12-month maintenance inspection and acknowledgement of warranty enquiries within two business days. Final service arrangements are documented; acknowledgement is not a promise of resolution within that period. Contractual and statutory rights are not limited by the maintenance period. Future improvements are separately scoped and quoted unless included.
Budget, scope and changes
Can you give me a construction price straight away?+
A meaningful price needs a defined design and scope, site information, engineering and selections. An early discussion can help identify what is needed for a useful estimate. A preliminary estimate is different from an agreed contract price.
What should I look for when comparing quotes?+
Compare the same scope, including selected Signature Collection features, site works, engineering assumptions, product models, quantities, allowances, exclusions and completion responsibilities. Distinguish future provisions from installed equipment and ask what remains provisional.
How are changes handled?+
Raise changes early. Before agreeing to a variation, clarify the revised work, its price and any effect on the programme, and have the decision documented. Your contract sets out the applicable process.
Are landscaping, pools and window furnishings included?+
These are not automatically included by choosing a Signature Collection. Discuss landscaping, pools and window furnishings early so the exact scope and price can be documented. Entertain covers the outdoor features agreed for your home; it does not imply that every outdoor item or a pool is included.
During and after the build
Who will I deal with?+
Theja Bollini leads customer experience, Chris Irudayasamy leads project delivery, and Trevor Heaton leads site operations. We can explain the responsibilities and contacts proposed for your particular project.
How long will my project take?+
Timing depends on the design, approvals, site conditions, selections, trade availability and materials. Discuss the proposed programme and its assumptions for your specific project rather than relying on a general website timeframe.
How will I hear about progress?+
Our process includes regular updates, quality checks and documented decisions. Before you commit, ask us to explain the proposed update rhythm and communication channel for your project.
What happens at handover and afterwards?+
Discuss the final inspection, handover documents, care information and how to report any outstanding or post-handover issues. The agreed contract and applicable obligations govern your project.
Can I see completed work and speak to past clients?+
Start with our completed-project gallery, then ask us about relevant examples and whether a reference conversation or visit can be arranged. Any access or introduction depends on the homeowner’s permission.
